Rod Rutland
Chief Operating Officer
Rod leads US Patriot Capital with a commitment to faith, integrity, and service. As a follower of Jesus Christ, he believes business should be conducted with honesty, transparency, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. These values shape the culture of the company and guide every relationship with investors, borrowers, and partners.
Rod comes from a proud family tradition of military service. His father served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War, Rod served 24 years in the United States Air Force, and his brother served in the United States Navy. That legacy of service continues today through Rod’s mission to help others—especially fellow veterans and aspiring investors—create opportunity and financial independence through real estate.
Rod began studying real estate in 2003, completing realtor training to better understand the language and structure of the industry. In 2005, he purchased his first investment property and began building hands-on experience in multiple areas of real estate, including rental property ownership, lease options, real estate notes, and private money brokering. Over the years, this experience has given him a deep understanding of both the opportunities and the financing challenges investors face.
Today, Rod serves as a capital strategist for real estate investors, helping them access the financing solutions needed to acquire, refinance, and scale their portfolios. Through US Patriot Capital, he specializes in connecting investors with funding options such as fix-and-flip financing, rental property loans, cash-out refinances, and DSCR loans that qualify based on property cash flow rather than personal income.
Rod understands that many investors are limited by traditional bank underwriting—especially self-employed borrowers or those scaling beyond a few properties. His focus is helping investors structure capital in ways that allow them to grow portfolios, preserve liquidity, and take advantage of market opportunities when they arise.
As a Master Mortgage Investor, Rod’s goal is simple: help investors turn real estate opportunities into long-term wealth while operating with the integrity and service that define US Patriot Capital.
Von Jahleel Santos
Executive Director
Von Jahleel Santos is also a follower of Jesus, and he serves as Executive Assistant at US Patriot Capital, where he plays an important role in connecting real estate investors with the financing resources they need.
Von specializes in investor outreach and borrower qualification, often serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients. Through targeted marketing and direct communication with investors, he helps identify individuals seeking capital for real estate acquisitions, refinances, and portfolio expansion.
His responsibilities include:

Von’s primary focus is ensuring Rod’s calendar is filled with qualified borrower appointments, allowing investors to quickly move from inquiry to financing strategy.
By carefully organizing investor information ahead of each meeting, Von helps streamline the process and ensures each conversation is productive and focused on solutions.
Milla Rutland
Marketing Director
Milla is an Air Force BRAT (British Regiment Attached Traveler) a term of endearment for children of military members. She accompanied her father, Rod, to Bitburg AB, W Germany at the age of 2, and departed for the United States at the age of 7. She’s been an actress, voice actor, and managed the Voice Actor Studio. She purchased her first home in 2015. She’s done various types of marketing and advertising since 2000. She oversees and approves marketing materials for US Patriot Capital.
Brittany Baldwin
Apprentice
Brittany, too, is a follower of Jesus. As a wife and mother of three, she administers her household, and is just beginning to learn processes to support clients seeking loans.
